As marketers we have gotten very good at setting measurable goals for projects, moving away from work that attempts to influence intangible business objectives.
If someone were to mix a project manager with a world traveler, then the result would be very similar to Jobin Hume, Three Deep Marketing’s Senior Client Services Manager. By joining the Three Deep team in August 2009, Jobin brought years of experience in a number of brands including 3M, BMW, Timex, United Airlines, and Fairview.
Before coming to Three Deep, Jobin was a Senior Project Manager at Fallon, and an Account Manager for RMG Connect (a J Walter Thompson company). She has also run her own successful independent consulting for the past fifteen years, giving her experience in numerous industries such as B2B, CPG, Automotive, Financial, Healthcare, Health & Wellness, and Beauty.
At Three Deep, Jobin acts as a conduit between clients (internal) and team (external). She is responsible for anything between small sign up dates to major strategy, and also helps the project managers to grow their skill sets. As a Gartner-certified Project Manager, Jobin finds passion in helping to mentor the client services managers so they can one day take over her position. She also enjoys the feeling she gets whenever a client meets a goal or exceeds it. In the future, Jobin hopes that she’ll be able to help clients approach their marketing in an integrated strategic fashion, going beyond marketing tactics.
In her spare time, Jobin is often found spending time with her nieces and nephews, enjoying martinis at MASA in Minneapolis, finding excuses not to work out, or planning a trip. Jobin’s travels have taken her to over 40 countries, and have even resulted in her running into the KGB when she was in high school. Her travels have even earned her a Foursquare bragging right among coworkers in the office: She received her “I’m on a boat” badge while on an aircraft carrier.
