About Tom
I'm one of the few at Three Deep without a technology background. I've been in the home improvement industry my entire career. I started out as an in home sales rep, and have been a sales manager, marketing manager, phone room manager, and business owner.
Way back in 2005, I was fortunate enough to meet the team at Three Deep Marketing. At the time I was the marketing director at a home improvement company here in Minneapolis. I was looking at increasing the organic search rankings on our website. Over the next 3 years, while working with the Three Deep team our company website became the number one ranked home improvement website in the Twin Cities. We developed a successful pay per click program that generated a steady stream of inquires and eventually accounted for over 30% of our companies revenue.
I joined the Three Deep team because I'm very passionate about the home improvement industry in general and helping other companies find similar levels of success in online marketing in particular. I've found I have a unique perspective in that I understand the best practices the Three Deep group brings to bear for online demand generation, and can help explain them in a way that make sense to small business owners.
